Escape to Sandhamn, a picturesque island nestled in the outer rim of the Swedish Archipelago. With its car-free charm, historic village, and stunning natural beauty, Sandhamn offers a tranquil retreat just a stone’s throw from Stockholm. The island’s rich history spans over 400 years, with local landmarks like the village pub standing proudly older than the United States.

Sandhamn is easily the most renowned island outside of Stockholm, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the serenity of pine forests, blueberry bushes, and blooming heathers.

Greta, who has over a decade of experience in holistic health, yoga, mindfulness, breathwork, and sound healing, chose to leave the noise of the city to embrace this incredible island. She is excited to share her favorite hidden gems with you.

During our hike, we will take three rejuvenating breaks: one for a leisurely lunch, the second for a moving meditation, and the third for a revitalizing sound healing session amidst nature.

Your adventure begins in Stavsnäs Vinterhamn. Convenient buses run from Slussen directly to the harbor, taking about 45 minutes. Alternatively, you can drive and park your car at the harbor. You’ll board the Waxholmsbolaget boat at 9:00 AM for a scenic cruise through the Swedish Archipelago. The ferry ride, complete with a charming café where you can enjoy your morning coffee or breakfast, will bring us to Sandhamn at 10:05 AM, where we will gather for our day together.

We’ll return to the village at 2:15 PM. You can choose to take the 2:30 PM ferry back or enjoy some free time on the island, with additional ferry departures at 4:05 PM and 6:25 PM.
